I have dreamt of owning a store my entire adult life and probably before then. My mom owned a tack shop growing up where we sold saddles and horse related supplies. It was in our barn so there was no overhead really. The more I thought about storefront the more excited I got. That was until I got sticker shock from rent prices.
I knew that wasn't an option for me seeing as I wanted an affordably priced boutique. I am OBSESSED with vintage trucks, so an airstream seemed to fit the bill perfectly! Funny enough, we found Tallulah at a bail bonds place! Anywho...we refurbished her and she is absolutely precious! We are open when we can and closed when we can't affording us the opportunity to still spend time with our families. I love what we have created and I am so proud of the boutique we have become!
Hey y'all! We are so excited that you are visiting our site!! Let's talk Tallulah...Taking a giant leap of faith, we started Tallulah’s Around Town in May of 2016 with a passion for quality clothing and a really cool vintage Airstream! We are committed to providing boutique clothing at reasonable prices so that ALL women can feel as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside. You can find us at events such as barn sales, beer fests, vendor markets, and anywhere else they will let us bring our girl! We can also bring her to your house, trunk show, culdesac, or venue for you and your gal pals’ exclusive shopping pleasure.
Throughout the year, Knoxville (and surrounding areas) venues and/or businesses will have pop up markets where local vendors and artisans come together all in one place allowing the community to come shop!! You will find us at several of these events! Keep up with our event dates on our website or visit our Facebook page for where we will be!
noun : the clothes, household linen, and other belongings collected by a bride for her marriage.
Ok, so I'll be honest. I'm in my late 30's and damn proud of it! Back in my grandmomma's age, when you got married, you got a trousseau. This in our generation means....new clothes!!! Don't get me wrong...I have 3 sets of fine china that I use once a year. It's totally important to register for certain things, just like honeymoon clothes! If you book us for one of these amazing parties, here's what happens: we show up with Tallulah and the bride gets a credit to shop (you set the credit prior to the shower), and she gets to choose her clothing and home decor! It's like a backward registry!
Can’t make it to any of our events? No problem! We stay parked at Hunter Valley Farm and when no events are taking place we can set up a custom shopping experience for you and your girls…free of charge!! All you need to do is use our contact us form to set up a time and day or you can message us on Facebook to schedule!
